Shipping & Returns
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Orders are shipped from the Toronto area in Canada.
Why is Canada Post shipping so high? Insurance.
Due to a high number of lost shipments using Canada Post we have been forced to insure each shipment so that the cost of your order would be covered. The cost of the insurance is $2.50 per $100 value of your order. Without that insurance you won’t have any recourse with Canada Post. We are not liable for Canada post performance but we always feel bad when someone’s order gets lost. Canada Post is randomly late by up to 2-3 weeks for something you would have expected in 2-3 days. The only reason that we have included Canada Post as an option is for remote communities not served by other couriers.
UPS shipping – not insured – do want them also insured? Let us know.
Our experience with UPS has been very positive – no lost shipments, always on time unless bad weather slows them down and their tracking is quite accurate and informative. We have chosen not to force insurance on UPS shipments at this time. If you want UPS insured as well then the same cost would be added to each order like we currently do for Canada Post.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (minus shipping charges). Items returned incomplete or not in “like new” condition (including packaging) will be subject to return to the customer or a $30 per item ($60 on dual band models) refurbishing fee at our discretion.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, please submit an RMA request. Returns MUST be shipped to the address you will be provided and include your RMA number. We’ll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item.
ACCESS WIRELESS LIMITED CUSTOMER WARRANTY
Access Wireless warrants that, beginning on the date of shipment by Access wireless to the original purchaser (“Customer”), and ending one year thereafter, the Open Mesh hardware will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use.
Access Wireless’s only obligation, and Customer’s sole and exclusive remedy for breach of warranty will be, at Access Wireless’s option, repair or replacement of a defective unit or a refund of the price paid to Access Wireless for the defective unit. The warranty will be effective only if Customer returns the defective unit or units of hardware to Access Wireless, freight and insurance prepaid, within the one-year warranty period. Customer will not return any unit of hardware to Access Wireless unless Customer first receives a return materials authorization number from Access Wireless. Contact Access Wireless to obtain a return materials authorization number. Access Wireless’s warranty will not apply if the hardware (a) has been altered, (b) has been subjected to abnormal physical or electrical stress or misuse, or (c) was improperly installed.
EXCEPT AS SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY, OPEN MESH MAKES NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. ALL SUCH WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUDED TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
